What the V1 website does
The initial UrduBooks site is primarily a content and learning website. User accounts, saved learning progress, payments and newsletter signup are not enabled in the current V1 build.
Information you choose to send us
If you contact UrduBooks by email, we may receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message. We should use that information only to respond, manage the enquiry and keep necessary business records.
Technical information
Our hosting provider may process ordinary server and security logs such as IP address, browser information, request time and requested pages for hosting, reliability and security purposes. The exact production provider and retention settings must be documented before launch.
Analytics and cookies
Optional analytics and advertising technologies are not part of this V1 release. If non-essential cookies or similar technologies are added later, the privacy information and any required consent controls must be updated before they are enabled.
Children
UrduBooks includes learning material intended for children, but V1 does not ask children to create accounts or submit profiles. Any future child accounts, progress tracking or personalised features will require a separate privacy and safeguarding review before release.
Sharing and international processing
Personal information should only be shared with service providers where needed to operate the platform or comply with legal obligations. Production hosting and email arrangements must be reviewed so that appropriate privacy terms and transfer safeguards are in place.
Your rights
Depending on applicable UK data-protection law, individuals may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and complaints. A verified privacy contact address and the identity of the website operator/data controller must be inserted before public launch.
